Hushd phone pouches are designed to establish phone-free zones, fostering a focused and productive learning atmosphere, which we believe will positively impact the overall educational experience of our students.

In order for students to remain engaged in their learning schools request that parents/guardians refrain from contacting their child during the school day unless it is an emergency. Contact school reception to reach your child.

In case of an emergency, we direct students to ‘safety first’. School staff will be able to unlock a Hushd phone pouch in a matter of seconds for students once they are in a safe and secure location.

Students are in possession of their phone – in their Hushd phone pouch – for the entire school day. We advise students to store the phone pouch in their backpacks where it is completely safe.

The Hushd phone pouch belongs to the school, just like any other school supply. If a student damages a Hushd phone pouch, he/she will be held responsible. The student’s phone will be confiscated, and a parent must come to school to retrieve it. A fee must also then be paid be paid to replace any damaged phone pouches.
